Eine Grundierung sorgt für beste Haftung des Permanentsprays auf dem Objekt, dient der Glanzoptimierung und gewährleistet einen sparsameren Gebrauch des nachfolgenden Decklacks. Durch eine Grundierung können Unebenheiten des Untergrundes ausgeglichen und beseitigt werden. Sollen Styroporteile lackiert werden, muss vorab immer eine Styroporgrundierung verwendet werden. Bei den meisten anderen Materialien wird empfohlen, eine Grundierung einzusetzen, da dadurch die vorher genannten Vorteile eintreten. Eine gründliche Vorbereitung des zu besprühenden Objektes lohnt sich immer: Sie ist das A und O einer perfekten Lackierung.

TIPP

Versuche nicht, gleich beim ersten Sprühgang eine glatte Fläche zu erzielen. Der erste Sprühgang ist als "Vornebeln" zu betrachten; durch den zweiten und evtl. dritten Sprühgang - d.h. indem Du „nass in nass“ jeweils im Abstand von 1-2 Minuten sprühst – erzielst Du eine glatte, gleichmäßige Fläche. Weitere Nachlackierungen sind erst nach 24 Stunden möglich, weil sonst die Gefahr des "Hochziehens" besteht.
